- 1). Hold your BlackBerry Bold so that the screen faces you and is on top.
- 2). Press the "Mute" key. It is on the upper-right edge of the phone.
- 3). Release the "Mute" key when the phone comes out of Standby mode. You will know because the screen turns on.
