How to Repair Durahide Leather

    • 1). Dampen a microfiber cloth with rubbing alcohol and clean the damaged area of the Durahide leather.

    • 2). Remove the lid from the repair compound and stir it with the included spatula until mixed. Spread a thin, even layer of the compound over the damaged area. Extend the repair compound 1/2 inch around the damaged area.

    • 3). Let the compound dry for three to four hours. Smooth the repair compound by rubbing it with a microfiber cloth dampened with rubbing alcohol. Continue rubbing until the repair compound is smooth. Let dry once again.

    • 4). Brush the clear coat included in the kit over the dried compound and let dry for 30 minutes to one hour. Repeat this step until the desired results appear. This may take several applications.
