How to Make 1 Gallon of Homemade Laundry Soap

1). Mix together 1/4 cup Borax and 1/4 cup of washing soda in a 2-gallon bucket.
2). Add 1/4 cup of liquid castile soap to the powder and mix thoroughly until a paste is formed.
3). Boil 3 cups of water in a saucepan. Mix the water with the paste until it is well blended.
4). Add a few drops of your favorite essential oil to the mixture until the fragrance strength is to your liking. Stir the mixture with the mixing spoon.
5). Place a funnel in the opening of the gallon jug and pour in the mixture.
6). Add water to the jug until the container is nearly full. Screw the cap back onto the jug and shake to mix the ingredients together.
