How to Remove a Tea Stain From a Stainless Steel Sink

Dampen a plastic mesh dish scrubber with plain water and dip the scrubber into the cream of tartar paste. Scrub the paste into the tea stain in your stainless steel sink and allow it to sit on the tea stain for 15 minutes. - 3). Rinse the cream of tartar paste off your stainless steel sink with cool water.
- 4). Rub whitening toothpaste into the site of any remaining, stubborn tea stains on your stainless steel sink. Leave the toothpaste for a couple of minutes, then scrub it with the dish scrubber before rinsing off. The very mild bleaching agent in whitening toothpaste will help remove the brown pigment from the tea.
- 5). Pour a quarter-sized amount of baby oil onto a clean cloth. Rub the baby oil into the surface of your stainless steel sink. The baby oil acts as a protective barrier to keep stains from sticking on the surface of your stainless steel sink.
