- 1). Park the vehicle. Turn the engine off and remove the key from the ignition.
- 2). Look at the instrument cluster on your dashboard. You will see an illuminated lock symbol. With the key out of the ignition, the indicator will flash once every two seconds. This means the system is ready.
- 3). Insert the coded key in the ignition and turn it to the "On" position. This will start the engine and disarm the alarm. Only a coded key will disarm the alarm system.
