How to Add an Underwater Light
- 1). Put the light fixture together if necessary. Some lights may require assembly depending on which one you buy.
- 2). Connect light wires to the transformer. Take your combination tool to help you put crimp-on connectors onto the two end wires of the light. Once you get the crimp-on connectors onto the wires, screw the ends onto the proper terminal found on the transformer.
- 3). Test the light. Plug the light into a nearby outdoor electrical outlet, then turn the light on from the switch to make sure everything works.
- 4). Mount the light onto the concrete block once you have all of the wires connected. Make a few small holes for screws. Then screw the light base to the concrete block.
- 5). Lower the light into place. The block that you mounted the light on will help the light to stay underwater. All you have to do now is put it in the water. Once you test it in the water, you may want to move it around to see exactly where you want it to be placed for the best effect.
