How to Use Noma Air Conditioner Controls
- 1). Press the "On" button to turn the Noma AC on. Press the "Off" button to turn the unit off.
- 2). Push the "Mode" button on the remote control repeatedly until you reach the desired Noma air conditioner setting. Continuous button presses cycles through five modes. "Auto" mode maintains the desired temperature automatically. "Cool" mode keeps cool air blowing continuously. "Dry" mode leaches humidity from the room. "Fan" mode cycles the current air in the room without the cold air. "Heat" mode blows warm air into the room.
- 3). Press the sleep mode button, which is marked with a star icon, to activate the Noma's sleep feature. Sleep mode gradually increases the temperature 2 degrees over an hour-long period at the desired sleep time, which is designed to produce a pleasant sleeping temperature.
- 4). Press the fan button on the remote control, which is marked with a fan icon, to cycle through the fan settings. The fan can blow with or without the cold air feature. The fan button cycles through the following levels in this order: "Auto," "Low," "Middle" and "High."
- 5). Press the clock button on the remote control, which is marked with a clock icon, to set the current time. The current time is important for using the sleep timer feature. Use the up or down directional buttons on the remote control to set the current time.
- 6). Push the light button on the remote control, which is marked with a light bulb, to turn the indicator lights on the main unit off and on. Sometimes, the indicator on the light might disturb people with sensitive eyesight.
- 7). Press the temperature button on the remote control, which is marked with a house and a temperature gauge, to display either the setting temperature, the indoor ambient temperature or the outdoor ambient temperature.
- 8). Press the up or down buttons on the remote control, while the system is idle, to raise or decrease the desired temperature. A lower temperature setting makes the room colder, whereas a higher temperature setting makes the room warmer.
