- 1). Check the power cord and plug into a grounded, three-prong outlet if the LG refrigerator does not operate. Replace or reset the circuit breaker or fuse as necessary.
- 2). Turn the thermostat dial to a colder temperature if the freezer is not maintaining a cold enough temperature. Keep the door shut as much as possible.
- 3). Remove items from inside the freezer and clean the compartment out with a mixture of baking soda and water if odors develop. Cover or tighten items to prevent odor transmission.
- 4). Disconnect power to the unit and clean the condenser coils in the back with a vacuum cleaner brush attachment to remove dirt if the freezer or refrigerator is not operating as expected.
