If you are an article marketer or use blogging to earn income, you undoubtedly know the importance of being consistent with both of these methods.

I'm going to share with you several powerful tips and strategies in several different articles that you can use to start generating an endless stream of creativity when it comes to article marketing, blogging, Twitter, or Facebook.

If you are serious about generating some real credibility for yourself, then you need to make article writing and updating your blog a consistent practice.

If it's not that, then video or even audio can work. And once you get rolling, the articles and posts just seem to come out of nowhere. You are truly in "flow".

But face it, sometimes we get stuck as writers and marketers, don't we?We all suffer from dreaded writer's block at one point or another. "What do I do next" is the question.

Sometimes we'll sit staring at the computer screen for half an hour, completely blanked out, not knowing what to write next that doesn't sound exactly the same as what we had written before.

So, if this is you, if you find yourself struggling to conjure up your timeless masterpiece, keep the following tips in mind.

1) Realize it doesn't need to be a huge posting.

A simple update will do just fine. This is why Twitter is great. It's microblogging and you are forced to say your message in 140 characters or less. Your update could have to do with something you are working on that will benefit your audience. I prefer updates like that - something that involves my readership.

For example:

I was talking to one of my network marketing friends about MLM. Personally, it's not for me, too saturated an idea. What do you guys think?

It's a simple update. You are providing social proof (talking with someone else), providing an opinion and asking people to chime in with their opinions. It's very hard for people to resist sharing their opinions.:-)

It is also quite brief and to the point.

Note that you shouldn't make every one of your blog posts this brief. Don't become "Twitterized". You must supply a deeper breadth of content on a consistent basis. This abbreviated technique should only be used when you are truly stuck and are having trouble thinking of what to write.

On to the next tip...

2) It doesn't need to be a thesis or masterpiece.

Similar to #1 above, you don't need to be Shakespeare or David Copperfield or other masters of literary perfection in your posts. It doesn't need to sound like a phD on astronomical economics. Sound like yourself, speak in your own voice.

In fact, writing like you talk can work in your favor.

I once saw a website run by a guy who obviously was no spring chicken. He was a master piano tuner, kinda gruff, and it came through in his webpage.

The thing is, his gruffness ADDED to the charm of his webpage. It made it sparkle with personality. Plus, the gruffness added to an overall vibe of honesty, which readers appreciate.

Kind of nice to know you now have permission to cut down the waffling. Write in your own style.

3) Take a small break.

This one can be harder to do for two reasons. First, if you are a workaholic, taking a break feels like a guilt trip. I know I've felt the same way. But taking a break is essential to your mental well-being and becoming "recharged" with fresh, new ideas.

Secondly, many folks take breaks that are too long. They become distracted by any of the endless distractions out there, eg. TV, internet, socializing.

If you avoid those pitfalls and strike a balance between work and break (play), you'll find yourself getting MUCH more done in a satisfying manner.

Get away from the computer screen. Do something totally different. And have fun while you're at it.

I will go into many more tips you can start using today in future posts. Here is a succinct preview of the other tips to come.

4) Looking around.

5) Read articles.

6) Write a "twist" topic.

7) One on one.

8) Are you opinionated?

9) The Power of Previous articles.

10) The "Spread" technique.
