Best Advice For Broken Hearted Women - Getting Rid Of The Pain Of A Breakup

It's hard on the heart when a relationship ends. The best advice for broken hearted women is to deal with the pain rather than trying to ignore it. Deal with it, work through it, and try to move on to life beyond the pain. There's no rush to get through your heart break but it will certainly help if you are consistently making efforts to move forward. Do these things and you will find you're on your way to healing faster than you might have imagined.

1) Live for tomorrow. It's easy to get caught living in the past after breaking up. It's actually quite common. You're reliving the glory days of when you were happy in love and all it does is add to the misery and feeling of loss you're experiencing today. Instead of looking to the past for inspiration it's time to turn your eyes toward the future and hope for better things ahead. When you can begin to look forward to better days instead of feeling as though the best days are behind you is when you'll know you are on your way to a heart that is no longer broken.

2) Avoid confrontations with your ex. Confrontations go way beyond fights. If it turns your world upside down to walk in a room where he is or pass your ex on the street you need to avoid those situations. Stop frequenting the places he shops, dines, does his dry cleaning, or buys his coffee. Avoiding confrontation will keep your heart on a healing path and help you go through your day without the worry of running into your ex. This can be a much bigger lifeline than you realize because by being out of sight for him you are probably going to find that you are often on his mind. In fact, you're probably on his mind a lot more in this instance than if you were there every time he turns around.

3) Don't rush it. Give yourself a proper amount of time to heal. Most people believe that two months is about the amount of time you'll need before things can begin to return to normal. Don't expect overnight miracles and some relationships, those that have lasted longer, may take much longer than two months to recover from. Give yourself a break and take the time you need to heal. If you don't notice some improvement after a couple of months worth of healing you might want to consider checking for symptoms of a deeper depression than what is generally associated with a breakup.

The best advice for broken hearted girls and women is to keep a positive attitude as best as is possible under the circumstances and follow the excellent tips above.
