How to Stop a Lag in "MapleStory"

1). Close all of the programs on your computer except MapleStory. Because other programs clog the computer's capacity for functioning and processing, more open programs will result in higher density of lag.
2). Go to the "Menu" of MapleStory. Click on the "Graphics" tab. Reduce the graphic capacity to half of what it is on your computer. This will reduce the quality of graphics, but will also help eliminate lag.
3). Go to the "Menu" section of MapleStory and click on "Sounds." Turn off ambient sounds and background sounds. This will reduce the processes needed to run the game, resulting in lower lag.
4). Log off your account. Wait for five to ten minutes and log back in. MapleStory can lag if you have been logged in for too long.
