- 1). Set off your alarm by locking and pulling the door handle from the outside.
- 2). Enter your car and insert your key into the ignition. Turning the key to the "On" position will disable your alarm if it is working properly.
- 3). Locate the alarm transmitter under your steering column. Remove wires until you find the correct one and the alarm turns off.
