- 1). Place the aluminum vent around the exhaust outlet on the backside of your dryer, which will be either plastic or metal.
- 2). Place the large hose clamp around the aluminum vent, tightening it with a screwdriver, to secure the aluminum vent to the dryer's exhaust.
- 3). Set the other end of the aluminum dyer vent over the ductwork against your wall, leading outside.
- 4). Push your dryer back in place, making sure not to bend or kink the aluminum vent.
