- 1). Separate the magazine from the lower receiver.
- 2). Align the tabs located on the lower receiver - two in the front and two in the rear -- with the appropriate slots cut into the bottom of the upper receiver.
- 3). Insert the tabs into the slots by moving the lower receiver straight up, then slide the lower receiver forward until it locks into place.
