- 1). Open Windows Media. Click on the "Burn" tab at the top of the screen. Click the arrow below the "Burn" tab and select the "Data CD/DVD" option.
- 2). Open the disc drive in your computer and place the blank DVD into the drive. Close the drive and allow the computer to read the disc.
- 3). Click on the "Library" tab and browse through the files in your media library to find the movie file you want to burn. Click on the file and hold your mouse button down and drag the file from the "Library" pane to the "Burn" pane on the right hand side of the screen.
- 4). Click on the "Start Burn" button over the Burn list to begin the burning. Once the file has burned, remove the disc from the drive.
