- 1). Turn off your Dodge Magnum's engine, if it was on.
- 2). Raise the front end of the Dodge Magnum off the ground with the vehicle jack and support the vehicle on the two jack stands.
- 3). Slide below the vehicle. Remove the bolts securing the engine cover with the 3/8-inch socket and ratchet. Set the cover aside. Removing the cover reveals the cylindrical oil filter, which is located next to the large, gray oil pan.
