1). Cut one egg cup from the bottom of an empty cardboard carton. Turn the egg cup upside down and poke the sharp end of a pencil through the bottom of the cup. Push the pencil all the way through and turn to create a circular hole, or pig nostril. Create one more hole with the pencil, alongside the first hole, to make a second nostril.
2). Coat the outside surface of the egg cup with pink paint. Allow the paint to dry thoroughly.
3). Cut a small hole or slit into each side of the egg cup, near the top edge. Thread the end of the elastic string or yarn through one hole and knot it securely.
4). Draw the string around the back of the wearer's head, cut it to length and thread it through the other side of the hole. Make sure the string fits tightly, but comfortably, around the wearer's head before securing with a knot.
