Young inventors camps offer all the benefits of a regular camp, but provides children an outlet for thinking outside the box, brainstorming and coming up with solutions to problems from a scientific aspect. At inventor camps, children learn to explore uses of energy, build and investigate, make discoveries, and tinker with motors, batteries and other materials. - Located in Delaware, Ohio the Young Bright Minds & Inventors Academy is a week long camp for grades 3 and up. The educational concept for Bright Minds & Inventors Academy is based on three pillars of learning. The first pillar, Creativity and Master Mind Techniques, uses activities to reinforce creativity and brain activity. The second pillar, Invention Process, consists of invention competitions for the kids. Through the final pillar, Brainstorming Services, kids learn how to be entrepreneurs.
- Camp Invention was designed for kids grades 2 through 6 and is hosted in local schools and organizations. Camp Invention teaches life skills through problem-solving and teamwork. Taught by educators, this nationally-acclaimed week-long camp immerses children in inquiry-based activities and creative play. The camp consist of five modules that are aligned with national and state education standards. Camp Invention is designed to enhance kid's overall learning in mathematics, science, history and the arts.
- Destination Science camps are based throughout Florida and California. Destination Science activities focus on science concepts according to National Science Standards and aspire to open the eyes and minds of young campers. Destination Science encourages campers to "work like scientists" both as independent thinkers and cooperative team members. Destination Science is also committed to six pillars of character development: respect, trustworthiness, fairness, responsibility, citizenship and caring.
