When summer approaches, many people start thinking about grilling outside. Depending on your needs, you need figure out the right grill for you. When I cook outside, my preferred weapon of choice are BBQ gas grills. Many grills can get the job done, but I like the versatility of small propane grills. Here are some reasons why I like these types of grills.

BBQ gas grills can have a lot of versatility. You can use them as a counter top grill or some models have folding legs so you can transform it to a full sized grill. This is great when I want to go tailgating or the park. They can be beneficial if you live in an apartment complex. The size and portability allows you to cook outside when you need it and clean up when you are finished. You can store it out of sight when not in use. However, I would advise against cooking on your balcony due to potential fire hazards.

These grills also allow you to light up easily and control your cooking temperature. There is no hassle of lighting the charcoal and trying to heat the entire cooking surface evenly. You also don't have to worry about discarding the ashes. If your gas grill has more than one burner, you can cook over indirect heat. This cooking method allows you to cook in a way that results in meat that falls off of the bone. Many grills have temperature settings that range from low to high putting you in full control.

BBQ gas grills offer a lot of versatility. If you like to cook out away from home, a portable gas grill would be great for you. Whether you like to go camping, tailgating, or just cooking out in the park, I'm sure you'll find the right grill to fit your needs.
