How to Level Up in 'MapleStory' When You Are a Beginner
- 1). Fight and defeat enemies that are of the same level or higher than you. Although you are able to level up by defeating enemies that are lower level than you, you will gain more experience points and gold from battling enemies that are stronger and more experienced. Since you are taking on more high-level enemies, you will most likely have to use potions and heal yourself more frequently.
- 2). Complete special quests and missions. Not only will you level up as you defeat monsters within the quest, you will gain more experience points by successfully completing the quest. As a beginner, you will have access to easier missions and quests. Therefore, taking advantage of being able to receive bonus experience points while defeating monsters you would normally have to fight is a plus.
- 3). Purchase stronger apparel and weapons at the various stores throughout the "MapleStory" world. Since each world has different shops, go into each shop to check out its inventory of weapons and clothes. Clothes will generally provide defense, while weapons generate more attack power. The stronger your weapon and apparel, the more you can level up without sustaining too much damage.
