It is natural to grieve after your partner has left you because it encompasses the loss of companionship, love, support, hopes and dreams you had with him.
It is an essential step to cope so here are 4 tips for grieving after a break up or divorce.
Tip 1: Be true to your emotions Suppressing or ignoring your emotions will extend the process of grieving a split up or divorce.
Be true to how you feel and let your emotions loose.
If you feel like screaming, scream.
If you feel like hiding in bed to cry, hide in bed and cry.
The key is to do whatever you feel like doing without being restricted.

Tip 2: Share your feelings My favorite channel to share my feelings is through journaling.
My journal will listen to anything I say and will not disagree with anything I tell it.
Alternatively, you can share your feelings with your family or people from forums and support group who are in a similar situation as you.
These people will be there for you and will not judge you because they love you and understand how you feel.
Spilling out your feelings to other people allows them to understand how you feel and you will realize that you are not alone - this can be a great help in your grieving process.
Tip 3: Keep your eyes focused on the goal It is important to pour out your emotions and share your feelings when you are grieving and it is equally important to constantly remind yourself about the goal of doing these; it is to successfully grieve and get over these negative emotions.
Don't get trapped in the vicious cycle of negative feelings and thoughts.
It will drain your energy and prevent you from recovering from the break up and move on.
Tip 4: You have many more dreams awaiting you When grieving about the loss of the future you dreamt with your ex-boyfriend, know that there are many more dreams you will create in the future.
Although it cannot replace the ones you had with your ex, it will be dreams that will make you happier because there is a possibility of accomplishing it.
