- 1). Boot your system without the recovery disk in the CD drive.
- 2). Press the "F2" button to enter the BIOS settings when you are prompted on the screen.
- 3). Use the arrow keys on your computer's keyboard to scroll over to "Boot Menu."
- 4). Change the primary boot device option to "DVD."
- 5). Put your recovery disk into the optical drive.
- 6). Scroll over to the "Save and Exit" option and press the "Enter" key.
- 7). Wait for the system to restart and boot from your recovery disk.
