    • 1). Measure 2 cups of water and bring to a boil in an electric thermo pot or in a saucepan over high heat.

    • 2). Add the chamomile and peppermint tea bags to a glass mixing bowl and pour the boiling water over the bags. Cover and let steep for 20 to 30 minutes or until cooled to room temperature.

    • 3). Pour the olive oil based liquid castile soap and the jojoba oil into the brewed and cooled chamomile and peppermint tea and stir gently until well blended. Try not to make too many bubbles.

    • 4). Once blended, pour into the glass jar and tightly screw on jar lid. The recipe makes enough shampoo for several shampoos (depending on the length and thickness of your hair).

    • 5). To use, rub the herbal tea shampoo liberally into scalp first, then comb into hair. Massage scalp and hair until you achieve a frothy lather. Let rest for three to five minutes. Rinse well and style as usual.

    • 6). Substitute different herbal teas if you are allergic to peppermint. Experiment and share the results with your friends.
