DIY Multistrand Pearl Ribbon Necklace
- 1). Cut three pieces of ribbon for the necklace. Make each piece 28 inches long. Cut additional pieces of ribbon if you want to make a necklace with more strands.
- 2). Slide one end of each ribbon into the ribbon crimp end and squeeze the crimp end closed over the ribbon ends with the pliers.
- 3). Slide 10 to 15 pearl beads onto each ribbon. You can add more or fewer pearl beads to customize the necklace to suit your preferences.
- 4). Space out the beads so that none of the beads on one ribbon are overlapping the beads on another ribbon.
- 5). Braid the length of the ribbon loosely. When using more than three ribbons, twist the ribbons in random order.
- 6). Hold the ends of the ribbons together and slide them into another crimp end. Squeeze the crimp end closed over the ribbon ends.
- 7). Open the jump ring and hook it onto the loop at the end of one crimp end. Repeat for the other crimp end.
- 8). Squeeze one crimp end closed and hook a necklace clasp on the other jump ring before squeezing it closed.
