Postmortem Ink?
"I have a friend who is an older guy, losing his health quickly. A great guy, a good man, a family man. He began a full upper body cover about 3 years ago, when he found out he was ill, and it is very nearly completed but not quite. This was his death dream, I guess you could call it - to get this wonderful work done on his body, to take with him when he is buried.
I'm not even sure that a dead body can receive ink, my guess is that it can, but my question is this...
if he should pass before his dream tat is completed, and his tattoo artist was amenable to the idea, (a little creepy maybe, but most inksters are a little bit creepy anyway), should the family of this man be allowed to let the artist finish up the small amount of work needed to be done, after he dies?" -razz2russ
Thick Scabs
"I got my first tattoo 10 days ago. I apparently screwed aftercare in a big way. I developed thick hard scabs and started oozing puss on day 7. I used bactroban and the puss issue has resolved, but man...the scabs. Ugh! I know this will delay healing a great deal, but does anyone know how long? The fact that I have this thick colored scabs mean that all the ink is stuck in them and I will have to have my entire tat reworked? Now that they have formed, is there anything I can do to 'fix' it?" - Heart_of_Texas
