    • 1). Open Lightroom on your Mac. Make sure no library is currently open in the Lightroom window.

    • 2). Open your Finder menu by clicking on the Apple icon in the top left corner of your screen or by clicking on the face icon on your dock at the bottom of your screen. Click on your home file, which usually is named after you.

    • 3). Click on the "Pictures" file. Right-click on "Aperture Library." Choose "Show Package Contents" and click on the "Masters" file.

    • 4). Drag the "Masters" file over to the Lightroom window and drop the file.

    • 5). Click on the arrow beside the drop-down box in the top center of the Lightroom window. Select "Copy as DNG." This will allow your RAW files and other files to retain your edits and keywords you added in Aperture.
