Love - Basic Instinct Breeds Trouble

103 7
A part of love is instinct.
It is basic to our survival that humans should be drawn together and out of this procreate children.
Our social and cultural history as humans has been one of refining and maturing our basic primal instinct so, that we can more easily and safely live together.
Socrates one of history's greatest teachers said, "One could not find a better helper for human nature than love".
Even in modern times, never truer words are spoken.
It is the whole of love that shines as a lighthouse beacon to direct us through the fog of our primal instinct and save us from the trouble it can breed.
In other words, birth control get a device, rubber, condemn, pill, diaphragm or whatever and use the thing to keep your basic instinct from breeding trouble.
Children are a wonderful delight.
They are a gift of creation and potential given to the world.
But, they are not a random accident and our survival as a species now likely depends on less rather then more, quality rather then quantity.
Loveless procreation is an act of selfishness that undermines hope.
We see the tragedy of a modern world caught in the grip of basic instinct all around.
Children are a gift to the world that should be given only in the most responsible and conscious manner.
Put some kind of device on your basic instinct until you grow up.
There are a number of other things a novice at love should know about how love works.
They can be stated as a set of rules or helpful guidelines for those who dare to accept the challenge of learning about love.
Behind each rule exists several thousand years of human experience with love captured in music, art, literature and sometimes modeled in noble men and women.
Because love is the most profound and desirable of human experiences it would serve each of us to search out the rules and then study the experience and wisdom behind them.
It is a fundamental of love that we can only be better for having dared to explore and understand the power of love.
