Easily Quit Smoking

I know that in life, people tend to want to accomplish a worth while goal without putting too much effort. While most of the time you do have to, at other situations you don't.

Now, why would I name this article "Easily Quit Smoking" when it is not that easy to quit smoking after all? Well, I am here to tell you that it is easy to quit once you know why, how to, and what tools to use.

Scary Smoking Statistics:

According to the World Health Organization WHO ( specialized agency of the United Nations which resides in Geneva, Switzerland), at least 4 million people die every year as a result of smoking worldwide. The number is expected to increase to around 10 million per year by 2020-2030.

This is a big increase, isn't it?

Examine The Reasons:

You need to examine the reasons why you smoke to understand what makes it so difficult for you to quit.

Is it because your friends think you are as cool as them?

Or is it because it lowers your stress levels more then anything else. (This one is big)

Or maybe you smoke to control your weight.

Most of the smokers out there realize that they are addicted to nicotine.

If you want to easily quit smoking, you must examine the reasons why you continue to smoke. You need to find the emotional aspect of this. You must asses your emotions every time you light up. Most smokers have no clue why they light up. They don't. Lighting up for them is totally done on auto-pilot. Just like when you wake up, you brush your teeth. People do this on auto-pilot.

Another main reason why most smokers don't quit is because they keep telling themselves that they won't be able to. Non self belief is a big reason for making smoking become a part of ones past a difficult task. Many times, you are the only person that is holding yourself back from becoming a ex-smoker.

What you keep telling yourself again and again determines what you accomplish and what you don't accomplish.

If you go with a mindset that it will be hard and almost impossible for you to quit, guess what will happen. It will be hard and almost impossible for you to quit. If you believe you can or can't, you are right.

And finally.....

When you do decide to quit and to do what ever it takes, never ever doubt yourself. Never tell yourself that you are are going to "try". If you are not going to give this 100%, you might as well don't even try.
