How to Fold a Desert Head Scarf
- 1). Bring opposite corners of the scarf together, folding the material into a triangle. Hold one folded corner in your right hand and bring it in front of your right shoulder. Bring the other end around the back of your head to your left side.
- 2). Adjust the folded edge so it hangs along your forehead. The top and back of your head should now be covered, and you should have about two-thirds of the scarf on your left side.
- 3). Pinch the fabric just under your left eye with your left hand. Grasp it about 4 inches in from the fold. Release your right hand.
- 4). Bring the dangling left side of the scarf across your nose with your right hand. Continue pulling it around your head until you reach your left side again. Change hands when necessary.
- 5). Grasp each end in one hand and pull the scarf to tighten it until it feels secure. Knot the ends by your right temple, on top of the layer that covers your head.
