Country Musicians Care for Their Fans

Of all the music genres, you have to admit that when it comes to the country music star, they are very fan oriented.
They are not doing it for the money or the fame.
They are doing it cause they love it, and they share that love with those that love their work.
This is true for most years, but it seems that 2011 has really shown the true colors of the country music industry Here are some examples from 2011 below.
  • It's all over the country music news wire how Taylor Swift didn't care about her health as she performed in the rain and is now paying the price.
She didn't let her fans down.
She's not the only one who does a lot for those that love them.
  • Each star has their fan club and they spend time with them.
In early July, Blake Shelton had a Meet and Greet with those in his fan club.
In June, Trace Adkins spent some very special time with military families and gave them their own show.
Reba added an extra concert to the sold out May Tornado relief one.
These are just a few of the stars that interact and spend time with their fans.
  • Jake Owen actually called some of the people who purchased his album - Barefoot Blue Jean Night.
Why are country music stars so connected to their fans? Because they are just like you.
When they talk, their voices sound like those that you hear every day.
When they talk about their lives, it sounds like what you do each weekend minus the music records and concerts, of course.
When they interact with their fans, body guards are not what the fans see.
They see their favorite star.
Most country stars had to perform in the bars and small concert halls to get the word out about their bands, Lately TV shows like American Idol have helped to propel some of some of newest stars and one of them is Carrie Underwood.
She performs live for her fan club in Nashville and always has a Question and Answer session afterwards.
These are a few of the examples that show how much country performers appreciate their fans, but it is very rare to hear that a singer has been nasty to a fan and usually when someone on stage has to point out a concert goer for bad behavior they deserve it.
