How to Meet Women in Everyday Places
- 1). Visit populated places. Usually you will meet the right woman when you least expect it and in a place least expected. On a weekend afternoon or evening, visit a coffee shop or join a gym or yoga class. Looking for a woman at the gym or yoga class has its benefits: she cares about her health and takes care of her body. An alternative would be to enroll in a college course in a subject you might be interested in, whether it's English or math. Try to seat yourself around others of the opposite sex and don't be afraid to start a conversation.
- 2). Make eye contact. If you avoid eye contact with the opposite sex, it can give women the impression you are arrogant, uninterested, or even creepy. If you see a woman you would be interested in approaching seated at another table in a coffee shop or standing in line at the grocery store, make eye contact and give her a pleasant smile. This will give her the signal that you have taken notice of her and are possibly interested in knowing her.
- 3). Make yourself approachable. Apart from smiling and making eye contact, do not shy away from small conversation starters. For example, if you are standing in line behind a woman you find attractive at a bookstore, take notice of the items she is purchasing, such as the title of a book. Inquire if that is her favorite book, or, if you have read the book yourself, let her know whether you enjoyed her choice. This will help break the ice for a potentially more in-depth conversation, and maybe even a phone number.
- 4). Use the Internet. The Internet offers a useful information about upcoming events. Notice if the city will be hosting a festival, music program, book club, community service, or even social clubs such as ballroom dancing. Become active in community events and get to know others who are involved as well. You are bound to meet women who are active in the community.
