- 1). Tease or fluff the extensions as you see fit. If you want a lot of volume, tease the extensions extensively.
- 2). Unsnap the clip on the back of the extension. You will know it is unsnapped when the curve of the clip does not curve with the hair of the extension.
- 3). Place your extension, with the clip end at your scalp, wherever you want the extension on your head. You can place the extensions on top of your hair, or underneath your hair to create volume throughout. If you are using the topper extension, place this extension at the crown of your head, with the clip facing down onto your scalp.
- 4). Snap the clip of your extension so it closes securely against your hair at the scalp. When it's snapped into place, the extension clip will follow the curve of your head.
