You have to understand the difference between being an entrepreneur and being self-employed, so you can talk, act, and promote yourself as what you really are. It creates less confusion for everybody and especially for you and your mindset.

So, do you have an entrepreneurial mindset? Which one of the two are you?

Both, the entrepreneur and the self-employed are business owners like you. But the second ones sell their skill, their talent to customers who want it and/or need it. They work all the time, both on getting and keeping customers as well as on manufacturing the good/service they are selling. They tend to work a lot of hours, after all it's their business and they are the employer and the employee at the same time. They can't take too much time off because without them, there is no business and the customers might just chose not to wait and go to the competition.

The entrepreneur has his business work for him. They can take long vacations, travel the world, enjoy life and their business never falls apart while doing all that. You are in the Internet Marketing business, so you better think of yourself as an entrepreneur.

The major difference between these two business owners is the entrepreneurial mindset!

To have an entrepreneurial mindset means that you have to be a great strategist, to be able to juggle different projects while always remembering your priorities and looking for new opportunities. You need to be able to get people excited about working with you. Always have some businesses that create passive income, so you stop equating time with money. You always have to plan, measure risks, strategize and re-adjust. When an idea fails, learn from it and move on.

Once you have this entrepreneur mindset down, your online business will explode.

Do you have the right traits? If you don't, but you still want to become an entrepreneur, you better cultivate them. Don't freak out, everything is a learning process.

Ask yourself: are you able to work without supervision, to make quick decisions, learn fast from your mistakes and move on, never take anything personal, self motivate, handle stress, opened minded and flexible, persistent, patient and focused?

Attitude is everything! Do you have the attitude to be an entrepreneur?
