How to Link to a Teamspeak Server
- 1). Double-click the Teamspeak client program shortcut on your desktop, or in the "Start" menu to launch the client program.
- 2). Click the "Connect" option in the "Connection" drop-down menu. The "Connection" dropdown menu can be found at the top of the "Teamspeak" software window.
- 3). Right-click in the left-hand window pane and click "Add Server" in the pop-up box that appears.
- 4). Type a name for the server to which you are connecting into the "Server Label" dialog box. This name can be any of your choosing.
- 5). Type the server address and port number into the "Address" dialog box in this manner: serveraddress:port.
- 6). Enter a nickname for yourself into the "Nickname" dialog box, this name can be any of your choosing.
- 7). Click to checkmark the "Anonymous" box.
- 8). Type the server password, which is case-sensitive, into the password dialog box.
- 9). Push "Connect" to link in to the server. You will hear a "Link Engaged" confirmation over your speakers when the connection is complete.
