As many of us have realized, it matters what you eat!But what many of us forgot to think about is "when" we eat.

Don't make calories your enemy!What we have to remember is that there are different kinds of calories.
If you eat a double fudge cake your sure to gain weight through "bad" or empty calories, which contain almost no nutritional value for your body to use.
Then there are calories that comes from healthy things like a stalk of celery.
Calories that come from healthy things will help your body produce energy and give it the nutrients it needs to function.
Eat more!Now, you have to be smart about this, you can't just go around and eat larger portions.
What I mean is, spread out your meals throughout the day.
Try to eat six times a day, this will increase your metabolism, because your body is working around the clock to burn the calories that you eat throughout the day.
Eat early in the morning!Ever heard that breakfast is the most important meal of the day?Well, it's true!If you eat a good and healthy breakfast that contain a lot of fibers to get your body working, you will have more energy throughout the day and as a bonus, your metabolism will get a "jumpstart".
Eat a lot of protein and healthy carbs!Protein and carbs are the building blocks of your body.
So, make sure you a lot of it.
Chicken is a good and rich source of lean protein.
If you want an additional boost of protein.
Try drinking a protein shake in the morning, or whenever you decide it's best for you.
Just make sure that the protein shake your are drinking really do contain a lot of protein, read the labels, some brands are better than others.
Also, remember that there are different kinds of protein.
Make sure you eat lean products that contain a lot of protein.
