Cruise

• Students can sail the sapphire seas under twinkling stars. There is much to enjoy on a cruise, including delightful shows, swimming, dancing, pampering and, of course, savory food. A nighttime cruise can mimic the night of the senior prom, and a longer multi-day cruise offers excursions and the opportunity to experience a foreign land. This would be especially convenient for those living near a port. Prices range significantly based on the cruise, timing and ports.
  
  

Trip

• Students can celebrate their emergence into adulthood with a trip to one of countless destinations. They can recreate their childhood while watching a magical show at Walt Disney World. Students can go on a day trip to a nearby beach or take a weekend excursion to a local historical area. They can spend a week in the nation's capital, a hotspot such as New York City or even overseas in a foreign destination. The trip can be very structured with a specific tour or allow more flexibility.
  
  

Carnival

• A carnival can be great fun for students graduating high school. Schools can fill it with roller coasters, games of skill, shows and silly exhibits. The electric atmosphere can be the perfect place for students to showcase their enthusiasm for graduation. They can enjoy games such as sack races, three-legged races and dunk tanks. Singers, dancers and other performers can entertain students, and prizes and party favors can make for nostalgic memorabilia.
  
  

Picnic/Camping

• A picnic provides a pleasant activity in which students can spend quality time with one another. The school or students can bring delicious food to commemorate the event. The picnic could take place in a local park and include activities such as hikes or volleyball. An alternative would be to create a camping trip where students can spend one or more nights in nature thinking about the great years of the past and the dazzling future ahead.
  
  

Service Project

• A community project provides a way for students to celebrate their emergence from school and do something good for their world at the same time. There are many volunteer activities ranging from helping to build homes for the needy to cleaning up the beach. Many of these can be combined with fun activities such as the beach cleanup and fun in the surf and sand. These may even be useful items for the resumes of students who are entering college.
