Hello, my name is Omar, and I'm a computer programmer. Sometimes new users to the Mac ask me how to backdate the Mac. I don't know why they would want to do that, perhaps for trial software or something, but it's actually pretty easy to do. So on the Mac screen, as you can see, the right top hand side has the time. That's the clock. Just go ahead and click it and click date and time preferences. Once you do that, the date and time should be available for you to change. Just uncheck the set date and time automatically, and you can change the date on the next available input. For instance, let's say I want to change it to September 2011. So I'm going to go ahead and put it on September 13th and click save. Once you do that, your Mac will be backdated. I'm Omar, and I hope you enjoyed my video. Have a good day.
