Stay-at-home mothers looking to go back to school for hopes of entering back into the workforce, but have been worried about money and if they will have time, might have the solution through scholarships available from President Barack Obama. New scholarships have been made available in the form of government grants to help these women go back to school.

Time, support and money have been the three concerns of moms when thinking about bettering their education. But the grants seem to take care of these worries. First, the government grant is a gift and does not have to be paid back. Many recent college graduates have to pay back student loans for years, if not decades, so this is considered a grand opportunity. But those interested should take advantage now while funding is still available.

The degrees also can be earned online, so a lot of time is freed up and the mother will be learning from the convenience of her own home. It will be important that the mother has time for her studies so that she can be successful in earning the degree. As for support, she will have support in the form of online forums where she can talk to a community of other mothers in her same position.

The Federal Pell Grant is available for mothers who need financial assistance. The grant now is set at over $5,000, which is an increase since Obama took office. There are other grants available if mothers find they do not qualify for this grant, such as $10,000 scholarships. These grants have proven to be a perfect fit for stay-at-home moms, teenage and working moms, and can even work for fathers. If you still need motivation, just think about how great that new diploma will look on your wall, or think about your first day in a new career you always dreamed about.
