How to Swoop Bangs
- 1). Get your bangs cut by a professional or cut them yourself. The reason the swoop-style bangs are usually angled and a little longer, is because you are pulling them across your face and they need to stay out of your eyes and be the appropriate length, once styled.
- 2). Wash your hair as usual. Wring-out the excess water.
- 3). Comb your hair and part it as usual. Pull your bangs to the side of your forehead for which they were cut. If the bangs are not angled, it does not matter to which side they are pulled.
- 4). Start drying your hair with a hairdryer. Use a rounded brush to hold the bangs while drying. Move the brush forward and around in a clockwise motion, while holding the dryer pointed at the moving brush.
- 5). Continue guiding the bangs to the side, until they are dry and in place. Use hairspray to secure the hold, if needed.
