    • 1). Find a computer with at least two USB ports and insert the memory stick you want to use to merge your other sticks onto into one port. Click on "Start" and open "My Computer." Click on the icon for the memory stick. Look at the open memory storage available, which is listed under details on the left-hand column, and make sure it has enough space to store the files from your other memory sticks.

    • 2). Insert one of your old memory sticks into another USB port on your computer. Open the contents of both memory sticks in two separate windows. Double-click on each memory stick icon in My Computer to open the windows. Decide what folders on the new memory stick you want to place the files of the old memory stick in. Click and drag the files and folders of the old memory stick to the new one. Depending on the size of the files or folders, you may have to wait a few seconds while the data transfers before dragging over more files.

    • 3). Safely remove your old memory stick by right-clicking on the green arrow icon in the system tray in the lower-right corner of the screen. Click on "Safely Remove Hardware." Insert another memory stick you want to merge with your new one into the open USB port. Repeat the process for each memory stick you wish to merge with the new one.

    • 4). Eject your new memory stick in the same manner as in Step 2 once all the data from the older memory sticks has successfully transferred onto it. Attach the memory stick to a keychain or lanyard or keep it in a safe, easy-to-remember location to help you keep track of your valuable files.
