This eye make-up remover is for all skin types, but it is especially good for those of us with sensitive skin. It is for both lash and lid eye make-up removal. The bottom line is that it does what it describes at the right price. The big question is always, how does it work with waterproof mascara? It does take it off, but you do have to spend a little more time and a few extra swipes getting it off.
Also, we discovered one very important tip when using this product: a little goes a long way! We learned (the hard way) if you use a lot and saturate your q-tip or eye pad, your eyes may sting. Ouch! But if you only use a little there is no irritation. If you notice that the eye remover is looking soapy or bubbly, you are using too much.

This eye make-up remover comes in an 8.4 oz. white plastic bottle. The remover is a clear, non-oily liquid and it has no scent. It sells for approximately $15. Among some of its ingredients are: chamomile, rose water and vegetable glycerin. It has no added color or fragrance.
There are no instructions for use on the bottle, but on the web site it says “To remove eye makeup, squeeze a small amount onto a cotton wool pad. Close one eye and place the pad over the eye area for a few seconds, then gently sweep downward to remove makeup from lids and lashes. Avoid dragging the skin as this may result in the formation of lines.

Things We Loved:
- It works!: That may sound silly, but there are so many eye make-up removers out there that actually don’t take the make-up off, so it was nice to see that this product actually does work well.
- Not oily: It’s so annoying when you find an oily, greasy eye make-up remover that interferes with your vision. We were happy to find that this product was non-oily and didn’t cause us to rapidly blink in order to see.
- The size and the price: You get a lot of bang for your buck with this remover. And since we learned that a little goes a long way, the $15 for this 8.4 oz bottle should last a long time.
- Good for sensitive skin: The remover didn’t cause any irritation on the skin around our eyes.
Things We Didn't Love:
- Could remove waterproof better: We can’t say that it doesn’t remove waterproof make-up, but it does take some extra work. It would have been nice to see it just glide right off like the regular eye make-up. (The Body Shop does offer another eye make-up remover that is for waterproof make-up. See our thoughts on that one.)
- Stings if you don’t use it correctly: We are lucky we stuck with this product and tried several ways of using it before understanding that if we use too much, it will sting. It should explain that somewhere on the bottle to help the consumers.
Final Thoughts
This is a nice product to try if you are looking for a new eye make-up remover. It’s probably best suited for those who have sensitive skin and haven’t found something that works, only because there are other eye make-up removers out there that would work better at waterproof make-up removal. (I'm a fan of Rimmel Gentle Eye Make-Up Remover. Almay is the worst! I bought their eye pads once and every time I used them, it was guaranteed I wouldn't be able to see clearly for about 30 minutes.
