There are ways to lose weight safely without endangering your health. Sometimes when people go on a diet they think that by not eating they can lose more weight but in fact they are endangering their system; your system will try to protect you by slowing the burning of fat so you can stay alive longer.

You will be helping yourself by changing your eating habit and make this a way of life. Because if you revert back to your fat eating habit or on and off dieting then you will gain all your fat back; probably more than you had before.

Plan to eat a variety of food with lots of nutrients to help your metabolism work well. Try to eat mostly broiled meats and lean meats, chicken, or fish. Drink lots liquids to keep your body hydrated and eat healthy portions of different types of vegetables and fruits. Always be aware of your calorie intake by keeping a log.

Exercise along a healthy diet and you will get the best results in your dieting plan. Muscle burns more calories. Start out slowly if you have never done any type of exercise or if it has been awhile since your last workout.
