Step-by-Step Instructions to Do 1920s Makeup
- 1). Cover your entire face and neck with foundation that is slightly lighter than your natural skin tone. Cover your lips with foundation too. Press the foundation with powder to keep it in place.
- 2). Swirl your cheek brush over raspberry or orange blush. Paint the blush on the apples of the cheek using circular motions.
- 3). Arch your eyebrows with an eyebrow pencil. The eyebrows should look like two crescent moons, thin and elegant.
- 4). Use black eyeliner to line the top and bottom of the eyes. Draw the black eyeliner in the crease of the eye socket. Blend this into the skin using your finger.
- 5). Apply light gray or green eyeshadow to the entire eyelid using a long-bristled eyeshadow brush. Sweep on mascara to the top and lower lashes.
- 6). Outline your lips with a raspberry lip liner drawing inside the lips to make them appear smaller. To get the bow look, make the lips look smaller by drawing the ends 1/2 inch in on either side.
- 7). Use a lipstick brush to paint the lips with raspberry lipstick.
