Hi, there this is Aubrey from The Leather and Vinyl Doctor in Utah. We're here today talking about how to get rid of wrinkles out of a suede jacket. Suede jackets are notorious for that, easily wrinkled and here's a couple of techniques to get rid of them. The first thing you might want to try is to actually wear it, just wear it, put it on your body and if the areas that are wrinkled, just go ahead and stretch it, stretch it out a little bit. As it sits on your body the weight of it will actually pull down. This might get rid of some of those wrinkles and it's probably the easiest way to take care of it. You want to avoid steam. Don't go where steam is, not a good idea. The thought of having a steamer or even using a steam iron, generally not a good idea. One of the things that does work well though is to actually turn the jacket inside out, put some brown paper on the inside of it and then using a dry iron apply some heat to it. Let's go ahead and do that. This for a start is my jacket which is, as you can see fairly wrinkled on the back there. My setting on the iron is for wool or silk. You want to keep it fairly mild on the heat level. So just be aware of that. Let's have a look at how that's turned out. So that is a great technique for getting rid of wrinkles in suede jackets.
