How to Restore a Bold Font on My Toolbar

    In Office 2003

    • 1). Confirm the visibility of the "Edit" toolbar at the top of your screen by selecting "Tools" from the menu bar. Click "Customize" on the "Tools" menu.

    • 2). Click the "Commands" tab in the "Customize" dialogue box. Select the "Edit" category by clicking it on the left side of the "Customize" dialogue box.

    • 3). Search for the bold icon by browsing the command buttons on the right side of the "Customize" dialogue box.

    • 4). Click and drag the bold icon to the "Edit" toolbar and save your changes by releasing the button. Close the dialogue box. The button will appear for your use.

    In Office 2007

    • 1). Click the "Home" tab on the "Ribbon."

    • 2). Right-click the bold icon in the "Font" group.

    • 3). Select "Add to Quick Access Toolbar" from the menu that appears. This will add that icon to your Quick Access Toolbar, which generally appears at the top of the screen.
