Baby Pushchairs - Are Certain Brands More Reliable Than Others?

103 7
Having looked at and had experience of several different baby pushchair brands over recent years, there is no doubt about the fact that some brands and models are more reliable and make a better buy than others.
I am going to highlight 3 such brands which might not necessarily be the biggest and best known, but which have certainly proven themselves in recent times with their reliability, value for money and increased popularity.
The first of these is the Graco brand.
Russell Gray and Robert Cone had a metal factory in America but Gray left the firm leaving Cone the sole owner in 1953.
He progressed from producing one line of quality products into something rather different - a means of transporting your little one around in comfort.
And so the hugely successful Graco line of baby pushchairs was born.
They are renowned for being a really reliable pushchair and have become a firm favourite with many mums.
Their Duosport and Stadium Twin pushchairs are particularly popular.
The second brand worthy of mention is Cosatto.
Cosatto came from Italy to England where it has developed into one of the world's leading Nursery Brands.
Cosatto progressed from its initial focus on cots to design pushchairs, prams, highchairs, maternity goods, nursery equipment, infact just about all you need for a brand new bouncing baby! In 2003, The Supercover Group purchased Cosatto having worked with the team for many years.
Particularly popular and pleasing to the eye in the Cosatto range are the Twin range of pushchairs - 'You and Me', 'Sis and Bro' and 'Sugar and Spice'.
All of these are beautifully designed and are a real head turner when out walking your twins! So Cosatto get our vote because of the quality, look and price of their range compared to some other names.
The third brand to pass our quality test is Obaby.
These are just a really good seller and the feedback from customers is always one of satisfaction.
Very popular models include the Profecto Travel System which, compared to the price of some brand name travel systems provides superb value for money.
Then there is the ZeZu Pramette which ticks lots of boxes for lots of mums.
Along with the extremely comfortable all-in-one carrycot and seat unit, the ZeZu effortlessly changes from a pram into a stroller.
Front or rear facing options, and the additional easy click car seat adds the versatility and convenience of a travel system.
Quick release pneumatic wheels means this pramette takes up even less space in your boot.
These three brands have passed our stringent tests in the last 3 years and continue to be very popular month on month.
Needless to say there are several other brands which are equally commendable but in terms of sheer value for money, reliability and positive reviews, these three brands are well worth considering.
