3 Makeup Mistakes You Could Be Making
We've all been there. Thought we had the perfect makeup routine down and then BAM! Something is not right, something is quite wrong. While none of us will ever be perfect (I have to remind myself of this daily) there are certain mistakes you could be making when it comes to makeup that are easy to fix. Keep in mind you can always take it off and try again, so no last minute freak outs, ok? Here are 3 makeup mistakes you could be making and how to easily fix them:
One of the most noticeable makeup mistake, mismatched foundation never makes anyone comfortable. When looking for the right tone, test a few on your face to see which one literally blends in so well you can't see it. That's the one you should go for. Ditch the lines and muddy color for the right tone and blend, blend, blend! This foundation from Giorgio Armani is one of my all-time favorites and staples in my makeup kit. More »
If you over-plucked as a teenager it's ok, we all get it. But the one thing you want to avoid is super bold, dark , and overfilled eyebrows that can make you look, well, scary. Try a soft pencil in the natural color of your brow hair and lightly fill in the arch and shape while brushing the hair with a brow brush to make it all blend and look pretty. This brow pencil from Stila is just as precise as it is nice and has a cute little brush on the end.More »
Moisturize and exfoliate! There's nothing worse than chapped lips wearing lipstick that in return looks, well, flaky and gross. Exfoliate a few times a week with a lip scrub and apply a lip balm after to ensure the smoothest lips possible for any lipstick you choose to wear. This lip scrub from Fresh Beauty will slough away even the toughest of skin!More »
