Hi, my name is Stefan. Today, I'm going to be speaking on how to divide starting with the basics. Now division is actually the amount of times you can subtract one number from another number. Let's say we want to divide 6 by 2. Now when doing this you have to say how many times can you take away 2 from 6. Now let's say we have six objects, one, two, three, four, five, six. Now we're going to take away 2, that's one time. Now we're going to take away 2 again, that's two times and now we're going to take away 2 again and now we have three, we were able to take away 2 from 6 three times. So 6 divided by 2 is equivalent to 3.
