When you decide that you want to lose weight fast, the first thing to do is to come up with a workable plan that you can stick to.
You will have to determine how many calories you are going to eat every day, and what is your maximum caloric intake to lose weight quickly.
Firstly keep a note of how many calories you are eating on an average day.
Track you calories for a week, by writing down exactly what you eat each day.
Carry a notebook with you as it is easy to miss foods.
To add up the calories you are eating, use an online resource.
There are plenty of calorie counting websites that are free to use.
In order to lose weight fast, you will cut these calories by a third.
So if you normally consume around 3000 calories, you will have to cut down to 2000.
Every 3 days, you will spike your calorie intake to 2500 to make sure your body does not go into starvation mode.
Take a long hard look at your list.
There will be foods that you decide you really could do without, and there will be others that you think you can not live without.
Take time going through your list, deleting some items, until you come up with a list of foods you are happy with that corresponds with your new daily calorie intake.
If some of the foods on your list are still unhealthy, look for healthier options.
For example, you could replace a chocolate bar with a banana, or a soda drink with sparkling water and a squeeze of fresh lemon juice.
