- 1). Plug the USB cable from the Dazzle into an open USB port on your computer or laptop.
- 2). Insert the Dazzle setup disc when Windows auto detects the hardware and asks for the driver disc. Restart your computer afterward to complete the setup process.
- 3). Install the capture software you received with your Dazzle capture card. This is the program that that allows you to record the footage and is included in a separate disc with the Dazzle package.
- 4). Insert the red and white audio cables from your VCR or console into the red and white audio inputs on the dazzle capture card. These inputs are color-coded and located on the front left of the Dazzle capture card.
- 5). Insert the yellow video cable from your VCR or console into the yellow input on the front right of the Dazzle capture card. If you have a S-Video output on the device you want to capture, connect it to the marked S-Video input on the Dazzle. Only plug in one video cable, either the Black S-Video one or the yellow component one. The S-Video offers superior quality, so use that if possible.
- 6). Start the video capture software on your computer and select the Dazzle capture card as the input device. The images from the VCR or console will be displayed on your computer screen and you can capture the footage to your hard drive.
